Leeds United and Manchester United played out a 1-1 draw in their Premier League meeting at Elland Road on Sunday afternoon, with both sides sharing the points in a closely contested fixture.

Leeds took the lead in the 62nd minute through Brenden Aaronson, who finished a well-worked move, before Manchester United levelled three minutes later when Matheus Cunha converted a pass from substitute Joshua Zirkzee.

The result maintained Leeds’ unbeaten league run and saw Manchester United secure a point on the road in a match that featured physical intensity and tactical discipline from both teams.

Leeds displayed organised defending and created opportunities, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin coming close to scoring earlier in the game, while Manchester United showed resilience despite missing key creative players through injury and international duty.

United’s equaliser underscored their ability to respond quickly after falling behind, and both sides had chances in the latter stages without finding a winner.

The draw extends Leeds’ unbeaten run in the Premier League to seven matches, helping them build momentum and maintain a cushion above the relegation zone.

For Manchester United, the point keeps them in contention for a top-four position, though inconsistency away from home remains a factor in their campaign.

The match offered competitive action at Elland Road as both clubs adjust to squad absences and the demands of the league schedule, with neither side able to find a decisive breakthrough in the closing stages.
