Congolese recording artist Fally Ipupa has officially released his eighth solo studio project, titled “XX”, marking the 20th anniversary of his professional music career.
The album, which debuted on April 17, 2026, under Elektra France and Warner Music France, serves as the first installment of a planned two-part release strategy.
A primary industrial highlight of the project is the collaborative single "JAM," featuring Nigerian artist Wizkid, which integrates Congolese rumba elements with contemporary Afrobeats structures.
The 20-track album includes additional contributions from international artists such as Angélique Kidjo, Joé Dwèt Filé, SDM, and Guy2Bezbar.
The project’s rollout was preceded by the singles "Cinéma" and "Doucement," the latter of which achieved over one million views on YouTube within 72 hours of its release.
Distributed across global streaming platforms including Apple Music, Spotify, and Deezer, “XX” is part of a broader celebratory campaign that includes a double-performance schedule at the Stade de France in Paris on May 2 and 3, 2026, where an estimated 80,000 attendees are expected per night.
