Dave, Tems Drop Intimate ‘Raindance’ Visual Filmed on Lagos Beach

British rapper Dave and Nigerian singer Tems have released the official music video for their collaboration “Raindance”, which premiered on January 9, 2026.

The video was filmed in Lagos, Nigeria, and serves as the visual accompaniment to the track featured on Dave’s third studio album, The Boy Who Played the Harp, released in October 2025.

Shot across urban locations and a Lagos beachfront, the video combines performance-led scenes with narrative elements, reflecting the song’s themes of emotional connection and intimacy.

The beach sequences, in particular, provide a calm, stripped-back setting that complements the track’s reflective tone.

Tems announced the release through her verified X (formerly Twitter) account, writing:

Since its release, Raindance has remained one of the most prominent tracks from The Boy Who Played the Harp.

The song has recorded sustained international performance, spending several weeks within the UK Official Charts Top 30and reaching the Top 25 on the Spotify Global Chart, alongside multiple Top 20 placements across European territories.

The visual collaboration has also drawn attention for the artists’ on-screen presence, though neither Dave nor Tems has issued any public statements beyond the music itself. Both artists have continued to focus on the creative and professional scope of the project.

Raindance brings together Dave’s introspective songwriting with Tems’ distinctive vocal style, marking a collaboration first confirmed ahead of the album’s release in late 2025.
