₦500 Million in 12 Days: Behind The Scenes Continues Strong Box Office Run

Funke Akindele’s film Behind The Scenes has crossed the ₦500 million mark at the Nigerian box office within two weeks of its release, emerging as one of the fastest-grossing Nollywood films of 2025 according to box office figures.

The movie grossed approximately ₦512 million in 12 days of theatrical run, making it the quickest Nigerian title this year to surpass the ₦500 million milestone and positioning it among the highest-earning local releases.



The sustained box office performance follows strong audience turnout since the film’s nationwide release on December 12, with major cinema chains in Lagos, Abuja and other cities reporting consistent ticket sales.

Distributor FilmOne Entertainment confirmed the milestone and described the achievement as historic, noting that Behind The Scenes also held the top spot at the weekend box office during its run.

The film’s success is also seen as indicative of strong audience demand for locally produced stories, contributing to the expanding commercial potential of the Nigerian film market.
